Shuffle Board and Potluck!

Today was the big shuffleboard tournament, my dad and I got to the finals! But lost in the end to these two wicked nice Canadians.

He is the final score board ....

I went to the beach and read some poems, which was hard and interesting, there was one by shakespeare that was really funny, he like ragged on his mistress saying she wasn't pretty and stuff, but said his love was rare with her and that was all that counted, so it was nice. Then my cousin Buddy came up to me and through sand at my feet letting me know Aunt Sue was taking us to the VARIETY SHOPPE! We all got to get as much candy as we wanted :) I got a lot of Boston Baked beans and candy hamburgers..mmm.. haha, they are really good.

Then it was time for the big Potluck dinner at the Sauers house. My dad and I made Tacos, and they were a huge hit. We bought 24 shells, and they were all gone, so I was happy. Then, we went home, I played guitar a little and talked to my mom.
Song of the Day (I love this guy, its probably my favorite genre of music, so relaxing)

  2. We played really well, making some shots that got big "OOOooos!!!" sounds from the crowd, but I think I was equally good at knocking our opponent's pucks into scoring position as we were for our pucks. Overall, it was a very enjoyable morning and we both made enough great shots to feel good about it. The trophy would have been nice, of course, but our opponents were all very nice Canadian people and long-time Ocean Parkers.

  5. Maybe you can practice for the tournament next year...once a year just doesn't seem to make the cut anymore! I think you should be checking the ingredients for the candy - I'm prett sure High Fructose will be listed....Just a thought, Mr. Fox!
