I am in Paris!!!
Eugene took us out to an amazing French restaurant so we got a good start to French food. It is wayy better than British food. I had a three course meal of French Onion Soup, Peppered Steak, and Carmel Creme (flan, but better). It was a pretty intense day of travel, so we are just hanging out now at the Aloha Hostel. It is really nice and relaxing. Tomorrow we have a free day to explore Paris, then we are off to Italy!!! This is the best trip haha..

Here are some pictures from the past couple of days :)
At the Wallace Collection in the Armour room. There were so many intricate carved guns and knives and spears and armor. It was really awesome.

We woke up around 8, took the underground to Sean's friends house, and it took us forever to get up to Leeds. We finally got there, picked up our tickets in the center of town, which was really annoying and out of the way, but it all worked out, and we drove out to the middle of nowhere for the Festival. It was all rolling hills of nothing and then we saw signs for Leeds. When we got in, it was like another world. There were miles and miles of just tents. Thousands of tents going through different campsites. It was really incredible. We didn't have time to see the other bands on different stages, so we went straight for the main stage. We got there just in time for all the main bands, which was really the only reason we went. For Vampire weekend we were close, but not in the front. So when the Yeah Yeah Yeahs came on, we pushed our way to the front row. When Bloc Party came on, everything was kind of a blur because we had to focus on staying alive through the insane fans raging all around us. When Radiohead came on, everything calmed down and we were still in the front row! Radiohead really was unbelievably good. It's hard to even explain. I have some videos and the light show was incredible. That had these weird light things all along the stage that were engirneered to work with the music and change colors when they changed music. It all was so nice.
Here are some videos I took!
Vampire Weekend- Oxford Comma
Radiohead- Weird Fishes/ Arpeggi
If you are interested, you can listen to all the songs I heard, in the order I heard them!!!! so amazing.
Here are a couple pictures from the Tate Modern, which has sooo much great contemporary work.
Here is Southwark Cathedral, the church Shakespeare attended.
We went to the Inn the Shakespeare hung out in with his actors, and they acted out his plays in the courtyard. Charles Dickens also hung out there, are he owed the place so much his life insurance is hanging on the wall.
