BARCELONA

Hola!

I am in Barcelona at the Le Meridien hotel on La Rambla road. It is amazing, and probably one of the nicest hotels I have stayed at. I will update pictures tomorrow, but it has been a long day, with 15 hours of train travel, and walking around Barcelona all day today. We started off by getting some tapas at a nice local place, I had chorizo saugages, it wasn´t filling, but it was really good, and then we just walked around, looked at shops, found an amazing\disgusting market, with all kinds of fruit and candy, but also with fresh meat showing full heads of chickens and goats and stuff, it was really disturbing. Then we went to dinner at the Hard Rock Cafe Barcelona, I had a Spicy Mustard Chicken sandwich with fries, and it was delicious. In the place was Joe Walsh´s guitar and Tom Petty´s and a original beatles score, and all kinds of other cool things.

I am with Dana, Rachel and Megan Condon, and it is a really good group. We were planning on staying in a hostel, but Megan Condon´s mom is amazing and didn´t want us to stay in a place with no lock out´s, so here we are, in this great hotel, which Bruce Springsteen and Madonna have stayed at... :)

well, I will post pictures tomorrow when I have more energy, because after our dinner, we went to a cool place called the Black Sheep which was a lot of fun, then we went back to the hotel and ran a mile in all our clothes on in the workout room, it was really random and funny hah. the next couple of days should be great.

  1. Nice way to see Barcelona - in a prime hotel, right on the Ramblas. You guys have got to go see the Palau de la musica Catalonia - most amazing building in Barcelona. At least walk by outside, but the inside is spectacular, if you can go on a tour.
And, hey, who taught you to like such great music, anyway? Can't go wrong with Ella and Louis!!
