Freeport!

I have picturesss, but I took them on my phone, and I can't figure out how to take them off! I will have some from my dad's camera tomorrow and will put them in here :)

Today I went to Freeport, a very cool shopping town in Maine. I didn't buy anything really, but I got the best clam chowder ever! It was called the Chowderhouse, and they like butter the sourdough bread bowl thing, and it's just amazing. Other than that, I looked around L.L. Bean, Banana Republic, Gap, Nautica (which did not have the stupid yellow jacket I have been wanting for a year) and many other stores. Then I got some Ben and Jerry's Ice Cream, and we left. The rest of the day was spent at the house mainly except when my Uncle Richard, Grandpa and Dad and I took a walk on the beach to Old Orchard Beach. It is a big street area with a pier, kind of similar to Ocean Beach, except with rides and arcades and fried dough and stuff. Kind of carnival-y. It was nice walking around, but the pier is really gross. Then we walked back on the beach and we saw the moon rise, which was something I haven't seen in a long time. It was really orange.

On the way we went back to Len Libby's, a reallly good candy store with a huge chocolate moose, I have a good picture I will put on later. It is a tradition to go there, and of course I got taffy and some candy chocolate mint things. I probably am going to gain like 30 pounds this week hah.

Best Dinner, Guitar and PIER RUN!

Today I woke up around 7:30 and prepared for the traditional pier run. We started around 8:00, I ran and ended up getting fourth, I really did push too hard since I haven't exercised much lately. Then I went back to the house and took a nap until 12:00. I hung around the house for awhile, played card games, then went to Bailey's Lobster Shop for dinner. We got 10 pounds of clams and 6 Lobsters. I didn't think I would like clams, but they are really good. The lobster is really great too. On top of all that, my Uncle Richard, who is a vegetarian, made great pizzas from scratch. There were all different types of pizza. Then my grandpa made cookies haha, so I probably gained a ton of weight today, but it all equals out with the Pier Run right? Ha.

So after all that my Dad and Jeff both gave there personal Jeopardy Games, they were fun and funny. Now I am really tired.

And before those Jeopardy games Jeff and I played guitar which was so fun! I sang with him and we harmonized nicely and he is basically a professional guitar player so it made it even better. We did Fly Me to the Moon and Simon and Garfunkel songs. :)

Shuffle Board and Potluck!

Today was the big shuffleboard tournament, my dad and I got to the finals! But lost in the end to these two wicked nice Canadians.

He is the final score board ....

I went to the beach and read some poems, which was hard and interesting, there was one by shakespeare that was really funny, he like ragged on his mistress saying she wasn't pretty and stuff, but said his love was rare with her and that was all that counted, so it was nice. Then my cousin Buddy came up to me and through sand at my feet letting me know Aunt Sue was taking us to the VARIETY SHOPPE! We all got to get as much candy as we wanted :) I got a lot of Boston Baked beans and candy hamburgers..mmm.. haha, they are really good.

Then it was time for the big Potluck dinner at the Sauers house. My dad and I made Tacos, and they were a huge hit. We bought 24 shells, and they were all gone, so I was happy. Then, we went home, I played guitar a little and talked to my mom.

The Hole and Frisbee

Today I dug a hole.
He's standing up here haha.

Today turned out to be pretty nice. I had plans to go to a concert in Boston, but it all kind of fell through and would of been a big hassle. I felt bad for making a big deal out of not going, but things got better. I went to the beach and dug a huge hole, as seen above, and it was really fun. Then I hung out with some random Ocean Park kids who were way younger then me, but they are way crazier then me too, so it was interesting hah. Then I played frisbee on the beach with Uncle Tom, Richard and my Dad. That was probably the best part of the day. Then everyone hung out around the house, I had some salmon, played chess and poker, talked to some people, had a good skype session, and talked to my mom :) Now I am going to read my How to Meditate book I picked up at the local book store yesterday, it should be relaxing. Tomorrow is a big day, the annual Shuffleboard Tournament. I'm playing with my Dad, so hopefully we'll get another trophy!!!!!

Productive Day

This is Anthony's newest facebook picture, his super cool look.

This picture is Jeremy, pretending to be a plastic soldier.

I woke up this morning and I shot straight down to my feet. I had a terrible itch, and I came to realize I had over 20 mosquito bites, at least. I slept on the porch for some crazy reason, and that was what I got for it hah. Throughout the day though, things got much better.

This picture here is the last standing soldiers from the huge battle I had with Jeremy and Anthony. There were midget soldiers who did the best.

I played a couple of intense games of darts, then headed out to the local Ocean Park grocery store and ordered a great Lobster Roll. Although it was ten dollars, I would say it was worth it. Then we played more darts and headed out to play more shuffleboard. The teams were my Grandpa and Dad vs. Tom and I. We lost the first game and ONE the second, so that was nice. Right when we go home my Dad, Tom and I all went out to the Saco, Maine Boon Field Disc Golf Course. It was extremely fun. The first game, my Uncle Tom and I were tied into the 18th hole, and I missed my last put to lose by one. Then the second round, I ended up winning by one, so we tied for the game out of all 36 holes! So great. My dad did really well too!

This picture here is very important, I can't officially say its an ace, but we all shot second throws, and I aced it. It was amazing. Then we came back home to a nice dinner of tuna casserole, a traditional family dinner that my Grandpa makes. It was really nice. Then my Grandpa offered to pay for ice cream, so a good group of our family went to the ice cream store and got stuff, that was really nice. Then I came back to the house, played a couple games of chess, and then poker! It was a three dollar buy in, and it came down to my Uncle Bobby and I, but we decided to just cash out and finish the game. I had more chips :) I got like 10 bucks!

So, it was a pretty nice day. I miss everyone back home, and can't wait to leave in 5 days!

Game Dayyyyyy

I ate more candy.....>

I woke up, played a game called Blockus, and I won, then I played darts, went to play shuffleboard with my grandpa, dad and anthony and I played with anthony, and we won one, then lost one, then we went back to the house and hung out for awhile, then I went to the beach with my uncle bobby and richard and my dad and we played a nice game of scrabble, which I officially am horrible at, then we threw a frisbee around for awhile, then I went and did another run to the pier and back, and it wasn't as bad this second time, so maybe it will be easy by Friday for the real run, then I went back to the house, took a shower, played more darts, ate some food, then it was night time, and I decided to go sit on a lifegaurd tower and play some guitar, it was so nice and relaxing, with basically no one on the beach and a really bright moon and the small waves crashing, it was great, I think I will try to do that every night because it was so nice, and I hope everyone, especially Matt and Jess, enjoy my great grammar for this post, I miss you guys :)

Frisbee, Running!, Bobby's Cake

Another great day of not doing to much :)

I started off by waking up at around 12:00 which was pretty nice. Then later on I went and threw a frisbee around with my Uncle's on the beach which was perfect because it was low tide, cloudy and no crowds. Then the frisbee cracked in the center because we must of been tipping it too much or something, so we all went in and hung out some more at the house. Then for some reason I decided to go running, probably so I don't feel so bad when I run the pier run, which is the traditional run, from the beach from our house to the pier and back. It's a good run, I don't know exactly how long, 2 to 3 miles, but I am still sore haha. I had a nice talk with my mommy later on in the day, then I played a little guitar. Then my Aunt Cindy finally showed up after many airplane delays and such and we finishes our celebrations for Uncle Bobby's birthday by eating the best cake ever made by Uncle Tom. I asked him how he made it so good and he replied, "The best way to make a cake is to never make it from scratch," which I found hilarious. He said to look for the pillsbury doughboy and you'll be fine. hahahahaha. Then some games were played, mostly Up the River Down the River. I am excited for the rest of the week!

Thanks for all your comments guys :) It inspires me to keep writing!!!!!!! And on that, I can't believe I have been keeping this up for so many days, its really unusual for me hah.
